Notable Changes from the Previous Year
While preparing for a new design next year, no major changes have been made to the 2023 CLA Coupe. Future models are expected to have fresh interior and exterior designs.
Infotainment and Technology Features
A 7-inch touchscreen centre media display hosts the Mercedes-Benz user experience system. It supports SiriusXM radio and Bluetooth audio streaming. Other optional features include Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, in-car Wi-Fi and MB navigation. The dashboard also features a 7-inch digital instrument display allowing vehicle stats access. Both screens have an optional 10.25-inch alternative available on higher trims.
Exterior Design
The exterior of the 2023 CLA Coupe is still revitalized after undergoing a redesign three years ago. Its front fascia features a diamond grille from the Merc and sharp LED headlights for a distinctive appearance. The rear has a set of slim-wrap-around LED tail lights complemented by two exhaust openings. Base models have 18-inch multispoke wheels with an option for 19-inch AMG five-twin wheels on higher trims.
Interior Comfort and Cargo Space
Seamless integration of the digital cluster display and infotainment system gives the cabin a modern appearance. Despite not being the most spacious choice, the car still boasts plenty of adjustments for comfortability. Available features include leather upholstery, sporty front seats and a heated steering wheel. The cargo area is also spacious and can hold up to 460 litres.
Performance Features
The standard engine is a 2.0-litre inline-four turbo coupled with the 7G-DCT seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It provides 221 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Higher trims are equipped with AMG-enhanced 2.0-litre inline-four turbo and the Handcrafted AMG 2.0-litre inline-four turbo engines for more power and torque.
Safety and Driver Assistance Features
Several precautions are available to help you get to the destination safely. Standard models are equipped with eight airbags, a rearview camera, active brake assist and adaptive braking technology. An optional driver assistance package includes blind spot assist, speed limit assist and an active lane-keeping assist.
