Family Fun Festivities In Vancouver During Harvest Season.
October 11 2024, Mercedes-Benz Vancouver
Nothing quite compares to the harvest season in Vancouver. As the cool crisp air sets in the Valley turns to stunning hues of orange and yellow and fresh dustings of snow tip the distant mountains. Harvest is also the perfect time to explore many of Metro Vancouver’s offerings of pumpkin patches, fall festivals and spooky Halloween nights.
If you’re looking to get in on the fun this autumn season, here are some of the best fall activities to participate in this month.
Pick The Perfect Pumpkin
Every October, it’s a seasonal tradition for families to journey to their favourite patch to pick the perfect pumpkin for carving! Bundle up in your best barn clothes, take a hayride, visit those cuddly farm animals and make the most of fall’s most quintessential activity.
Every front porch needs a pumpkin come Halloween night, so here are five of our favourite pumpkin patches across the Valley:
- Southlands Heritage Farm – Vancouver
- Hazelmere Pumpkin Patch – Surrey
- Laity Pumpkin Patch – Maple Ridge
- Aldor Acres – Langley
- Mann Farms – Abbotsford
