Vivian Liu is not your average florist. She’s not even your average floral artist. With years of academic training in the arts, including graphic design, she approaches flowers with a sense of uniqueness and innovation that’s nothing short of inspired. Vivian uses her trained eye for colour composition, form, and pattern to create remarkable works of art that you need to see to truly believe, not the least of which is a Jean-Paul Gaulthier-inspired gown, created especially for the 2019 Diner en Blanc Vancouver.

Vivian makes her floral home at Arbutus Florist, a Vancouver shop that’s been in business since 1986, but was taken over by Liu in 2016.
