Sporty. Spacious. Speedy. Sleek. Whatever you desire in an electric vehicle, the Mercedes-EQ lineup, with its cutting-edge technology and expert engineering, has something for everyone. We’re thrilled to give you the run-down on five models that are debuting in the coming years. Please keep in mind that all dates and specs are subject to change. We’ll provide you with updates as new details are released. Check back soon!
Mercedes-Benz EQS
The new EQ fleet kicked off with our EQS Spring Wine Tasting Event in May. The EQS is the first of Mercedes-Benz new EQ lineup to arrive in Vancouver! Aerodynamicists and designers worked in tandem to make it the most aerodynamic series-built vehicle in the world. The EQS boasts a battery with increased cell energy density, state-of-the-art energy management system software, and a stunning Mercedes-Benz User Experience Hyperscreen for a digital infotainment experience like no other.
Mercedes-Benz EQB
In some ways similar to the GLA-class, this Mercedes-Benz has a boxier, more squared-off look. We are expecting over 221 horsepower and 3rd-row optional seating available with this model. Expect it on showroom floors in Fall 2022. More details to come!
Mercedes-AMG EQS
With a staggering 751 horsepower, the AMG EQS is environmentally sustainable, yet offers the performance, driving experience, and exclusive features you’ve come to expect of the Mercedes-AMG marque. Read on for everything you need to know.
Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV
For those requiring a bit more space, the future holds many options, and the EQS SUV–debuting 2023–is a wonderful example of that. With the appearance of a sporty SUV coupe, it has a range of up to 500 km.
Mercedes-Benz EQE Sedan & SUV
The 2023 EQE Sedan is akin to a smaller version of the Mercedes EQS with a price tag under $100,000. Add in a drive-range of over 300 miles, its super-efficient battery will be able to charge from 10 to 80 percent in about half an hour.
Naturally, the EQE will also come in a much-anticipated SUV model, which will be equivalent to the GLE-Class SUV. With an expected delivery date in 2024, there will be much more to come on that in the future.
Mercedes-Benz EQS Maybach
For this posh SUV coming in 2023, consumers can expect the identifying features that are characteristic of Maybach–such as the elaborate two-tone paint finish–in a fully electric format. Inside, the seats show parallels to the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, including the high-end rear seat entertainment system for optimum on-board comfort.
Mercedes-Benz EQA
This electric counterpart to the Mercedes-Benz GLA-class crossover is currently only slated for European release, but we will keep you posted with any updates as they become available.
Electric vs. Hybrid
How does the Mercedes-EQ fleet work in comparison to plug-in hybrid vehicles, you may be asking? Good question. EQ vehicles are fully electric, with no gas component whatsoever, whereas plug-in hybrid vehicles feature an electric motor alongside a traditional internal combustion engine. Not only are there thousands of charging stations across Canada, with more popping up each day, but the Mercedes me Charge charging network is also one of the world’s largest.
Start planning your electric future today by adding one of our exciting new Mercedes-EQ models to your wish list!
