Fall Wine Tasting Event Recap.

On October 20, Mercedes-Benz Vancouver hosted its second wine-tasting and viewing event, pairing the luxurious Mercedes-AMG SL 63 and the EQS SUV with a variety of wines from boutique European vineyards.
The night's success was thanks to the amazing sponsorship from World Wine Synergy and VancityExperts Real Estate. Proceeds from ticket sales additionally went to Covenant House Vancouver.
Among the highlights of the evening were catered canapes, delightful cheese pairings, local craft beer and an outstanding gallery of art, featuring pieces by David Wong and Novel Morriseau, presented by EA Studios Calgary.
Both casual and expert connoisseurs alike were also treated to over 20 varieties of wine from France, Italy and Greece, a collection graciously sponsored by World Wine Synergy.
But perhaps the true stars of the show were the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 and the EQS SUV, two new arrivals to Mercedes-Benz Vancouver. Guests had the unique opportunity to get up close and personal with the two engineering marvels, each representing two pillars of Mercedes’ automotive ingenuity today.
The remarkable SL 63 Roadster sports a 4.0L V8 bi-turbo engine, handcrafted by the engineers at Mercedes-AMG, outputting an impressive 577 hp with a 3.6-second launch speed. Every aspect of the Roadster exudes AMG heritage and performance craftsmanship, pairing beautifully with the old-world European flavours of the evening.
In contrast, the Mercedes EQS SUV raises its glass to the future, heralding a new generation of Mercedes innovation and environmental sustainability through EV technology. Two powertrain options are available with the 2023 model, both featuring the 4MATIC all-wheel drive system, leveraging comfort and control on all road conditions for nearly 600 km of range.
