EQS Spring Wine Tasting - The Perfect Pairing.

On May 6th, the Mercedes-Benz Vancouver Wine Club hosted its premiere event—the EQS Spring Tasting—to a full house. The event featured the perfect pairing for a beautiful Friday evening: Mercedes-Benz engineering matched with the best wines of the Okanagan Valley.
The undisputed star of the show, the new 2022 EQS 580 4MATIC sedan, was on display in all its glory (shown this night in ‘High-Tech Silver Metallic’) alongside a selection of other beautiful Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG models.
Given the name of the event, to say the new Mercedes-EQ offering drew a crowd would certainly be an understatement. Guests filed in and out of the EQS all night long for an intimate sneak-peek at the future of luxury automotive.
The AMG sport comfort front seats beckoned its occupants to stay just a little bit longer, and the 56” MBUX Hyperscreen was even more impressive in-person. The only thing better would have been to experience the effortless power and technology the EQS had to offer behind the wheel—but with the best wineries of the Okanagan sharing the spotlight, that would have to wait for another day!
Featuring varieties from six wineries throughout Kelowna, Okanagan Falls, Oliver, and West Kelowna, there was no shortage of options for both casual enjoyment and the connoisseur alike. The wineries—CedarCreek, Checkmate, Liquidity, Martin’s Lane, Mission Hill, and Road 13—brought a combination of best-sellers and MBV Wine Club exclusives to the event. With dozens of options to choose from, there was something for everyone at the EQS Spring Tasting. Of course, for those who desired to add a few varieties to their home cellar, all wines featured were available to order for pickup or free delivery a few days after the event.
Red Truck Beer Company was also on-site providing some of their most popular varieties, brewed just a short walk from MBV. A variety of canapés were provided throughout the night, including (but not limited to) some truly phenomenal arancini and potato skins. All in all, it was a “can’t-miss” evening.
