Featured Fall Menus.
September 12 2024, Mercedes-Benz Vancouver
The time of pumpkin spice lattes has arrived and that means Fall is basically in full swing. While pumpkin spice can be nice, we’ve gathered the best fall flavours and menus to check out in the Lower Mainland to highlight local produce, cuisine and of course, culinary excellence.
St. Lawrence
Neighbourhood: Railtown
Instagram: @stlawrencerestaurant
A culinary wonder located in Railtown, MICHELIN-starred St. Lawrence features a regular rotating seasonal menu by Chef Jean-Christophe “J-C” Poirer, and this fall is no exception. Poirer’s dishes are a perfect mix of classic French fare and Québécois gastronomy. Expect heart-warming dishes that feature staple fall flavours like the Blé d’Inde (roasted corn, butter, salt), beetroot tart (with Oka cheese, Nootka rose, horseradish), 45 day dry-aged steak (with peppercorn sauce), Moules Marinière (mussels in white wine & herbs, hasselback potato, leeks) and all the Pomme de terre with caviar (local sturgeon caviar with roasted potatoes, potato chips & croquettes). These dishes will make appearances on the menus throughout the entire fall season, so book multiple reservations if you want to taste them all.
Burdock & Co.
Neighbourhood: Mount Pleasant
Instagram: @burdockandco
Burdock & Co. is a fan-favourite for anyone who loves a good farm-to-table meal that features local produce from local farms. This MICHELIN star restaurant changes its menu each month based on seasonal produce that is home-grown and foraged. Currently in its third year of Burdock & Co’s Moon Series, diners can look forward to “Radiant RADICCHIOS Under a Frost Moon” this October through November. Chef Andrea Carlson keeps her menu close to her heart, so while we don’t have the exact dishes to reveal yet, we can attest to a fabulous meal featuring radicchios to be unveiled closer to the start of October.
Notch8
Neighbourhood: Downtown

Stepping away from fall dinner menus, Notch8, located in the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, has launched their Autumn Harvest Afternoon Tea under the culinary direction of Head Chef Kay Noh. Available now through November 24th, the Autumn Harvest Afternoon Tea is a decadent tea service that highlights classic fall flavours. Their menu includes Kabocha Squash Tartlet, Cranberry Orange Scones, Sweet Potato & Yam Pavê, Salted Caramel Apple Pie Bar, Pumpkin Tiramisu, and most importantly, a Pumpkin Spice Latte Martini for the pumpkin spice addicts. Afterall, what is a modern Autumn Harvest without pumpkin spice on the menu?

A one-night only engagement, Maenam, the recent 2024 gold winner of Vancouver Magazine’s Best Thai Restaurant in Vancouver, brings together three highly-regarded chefs for a Mid-Autumn Night’s Feast as part of their Maenam and Friends dinner series. The dinner series is in celebration of the restaurant’s 15th anniversary and the Mid-Autumn Night’s feast is looking to be a spectacular meal with Maenam’s Chef Angus An at the helm, alongside Boulevard’s Chef Roger Ma and Sumibiyaki Arashi’s Pete Ho. The three chefs have cooked up a modern-Chinese-meets-yakitori menu with a curated wine pairing from That’s Life Gourmet. Taking place on September 17th with limited seatings at 5:30pm and 8:30pm, the dinner slots are now sold out, but keep a close eye for more upcoming Maenam and Friends dinners.
