Q: You are a small but mighty team, with 7 agents and an office manager. How is that small size an advantage for your clients, and in what way does the VancityExperts experience differ?
A: Our team benefits from its size as it allows us to collaborate and support each other with every transaction. Our clients benefit the most as they receive consultation from an entire group of experts, and not just a single agent.
Q: In what ways do you use client feedback to improve your services?
A: Knowing that our clients are happy with our services is the best feeling and feedback we can obtain. We love reading the reviews that are left for us on Google and REW.
Q: Your website showcases an impressive array of sold properties. What do you look for in clients, projects and properties that you represent?
A: We are fortunate that a large part of our business comes from client referrals and we are always happy to assist past, present and new clients with all of their real estate needs.
Q: What do you see as one of the big challenges in our B.C. market, and in what ways do you advise your clients to overcome it?
A: BC cities consistently rank in the world as some of most liveable, which creates a lot of buzz and desirability to own. We assist guiding our clients through these "hot" markets and provide our insights on how they can benefit with real estate at the right time.
Q: Does your team do any regular team-building activities? If so, what are some highlight events?
A: We sure do! As mentioned, our team is like family and we try our best to get all 8 of us together every month for some fun. We enjoy many activities, a few recent favourites being attending Canucks games, bowling and go-karting!
Q: Tell us something unexpected or surprising about your company that we may not know already.
A: As indicated above, we are a small group, but we are also a young group, all within 10 years of each other—and under 40 years old. Combined we can also speak 3 different languages.
Q: What do you love most about Vancouver?
A: I can't deny the beautiful scenery, mountains and ocean views. However, with the cultural diversity in our city, we have many amazing restaurants and I enjoy trying new cuisines.
Q: Is there an organization or foundation your team supports and would like to give a shout out to?
A: BC Children's Hospital does amazing work. I had firsthand experience being a patient in my youth and I hold high praise for the organization and its employees.
Q: Lastly, do you have a short story about a client/customer experience that always makes you smile? If so, can you share it?
A: Every possession day is exciting knowing that our client is moving into their new dream property!
