Sandro Mati Arrives as New General Manager of Mercedes-Benz Vancouver

Mercedes-Benz Vancouver is proud to welcome Sandro Mati as General Manager. With over 15 years of experience in the automotive industry, Sandro brings an incredible level of service and leadership to the team, with remarkable dedication to customer service and the Mercedes-Benz brand.
Growing up in London, Ontario, Sandro journeyed out west in 2007, settling in Edmonton, Alberta, where he began his journey in the rapidly changing automotive industry. Sandro started as a salesperson for Subaru City, later taking on the role of Pre-Owned Sales Manager in 2009, a position he held until moving to Vancouver in 2014 to join the Dilawri Group.
Now, after eight years with Dilawri, Sando has stepped in to lead Mercedes-Benz Vancouver as General Manager, bringing with him an ambition for perfection and an eye for excellence within his team so we can continue to exceed customer expectations for years to come.

Favourite local activities in Vancouver?
Vancouver offers a wide variety of restaurant experiences. I wouldn’t say I’m a foodie, but I like trying new places and cuisines. My wife and I love Minami in Yaletown. It’s been our go-to spot for almost every special occasion.
What’s your favourite dish to eat?
Pizza! Nothing beats a good pie!
Any notable hobbies or interests?
I’ve always had a love for sneakers. At one time, I was a big collector. These days not so much, but I still maintain a small collection and I like to keep in the know of the latest releases.
I’m also a huge sports fan. I have a deep love and appreciation for European football and I'm a die-hard Juventus fan. Also a big basketball fan.
What are your favourite cars, past or present?
My favourite Mercedes would have to be the 2010-2015 Mercedes SLS AMG. As for all-time, I’d have to say the Ferrari F355.
Any favourite businesses you want to shout out?
Rosewood Hotel Georgia is my favourite hotel in Vancouver. Whenever my wife and I come into the city for a night out, we try to stay there. I love the service and the classic aesthetic of the hotel.
