Science World
March 3 - May 29
Science World announced their latest feature exhibit Skin: Living Armour, Evolving Identity will be on display starting from March 3rd. Discover how skin plays a crucial role in shaping physical and social interactions with the outside world, across different organisms. Alongside their popular and permanent galleries, like BodyWorks, the entire family will have an exciting day learning fun facts about the world around them and spark their imaginations on how to apply those learnings in the real world.
Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N
March 3 - May 28
If you and your family are fans of the Marvel franchise, get ready for an epic interactive experience at The Amazing Brentwood this spring. Starting on March 3, the entire family can be immersed in a heroic journey through the Marvelverse while learning about STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math). Play with cool gadgets and participate in simulations to test your reflexes and problem-solving skills. Every hero starts somewhere and you’ll get the chance to join the Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. as new recruits and earn your way up to being an integral member of the Avengers.
Oz: Carousel Theatre for Young People

Live theatre is back! Watch L. Frank Baum, the author of The Wizard of Oz, on stage as he creates the beloved book that sparked the imaginations of millions all over the world. Set in Chicago in 1899, the middle-aged author is struggling to complete the finishing touches on his life’s greatest work, and enlists the help of his housekeeper, Bridget and a little girl named Dot to help. A family-friendly tale meant for all ages, live theatre captivates audiences in a magical way. Book your tickets before they’re gone!
Pokémon Scavenger Hunt

Pokémon trainers, gear up for a literary hunt. The North Vancouver District Public Library is once again hosting a self-guided Pokemon Scavenger Hunt. Grab the family and head over to any NVDPL branch to start your adventure. Armed with a Pokédex sheet inside any NVDPL branch, explore the children’s section to find hidden Pokémon, decode secret messages and earn trainer badges. Each branch hosts different sets of Pokémon and unique badges to collect to ultimately become a Pokémon Master. A great way to engage the family in literary fun, families can borrow more adventures to continue the excitement at home.
Vancouver Aquarium: Nature’s Ninjas
March 1 - September 4
The Vancouver Aquarium is home to more than just sea creatures in need of shelter. They also house amazing animals like their new camouflaged chameleon, and four-toed hedgehog. Discover some of the animal kingdom’s most clever and deadly defenses, up close, in an all-new interactive exhibit, Nature’s Ninjas: Defenses of the Animal Kingdom. Explore new environments and ecosystems, and get acquainted with exotic creatures from the deep, jungle and ground. Visitors can also dive into a new interactive movie, Shark: A 4D Experience, where the entire family can come face to face with some of the world’s most strange and mysterious sharks, starting March 11.
