The S-Class’s Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) is more intuitive and intelligent than ever before, and the multitouch digital cockpit can be specially programmed to recognize your fingerprint and respond to your voice. As for the screen experience, there is a digital gauge cluster that creates a 3D effect if you so desire, but this can be turned off for those craving a more conventional look and feel.

As expected, the S-Class engine is an engineering masterpiece and the beauty of this engine is that it can be as effortless or engaging as you desire; the Dynamic Select drive modes and a 9-speed transmission sharpens in Sport mode or eases up in ECO mode, and you can customize a mode of your own.
The S580 is also equipped with upgraded, standard safety features like automated emergency braking, lane-departure warnings, and adaptive cruise control, among others.
Crafted with twin turbos to help the S 580 V8 output 496 hp, the EQ Boost also advances its innovative Integrated Starter Generator to add torque electrically and make ECO Start/Stop smoother than ever before. But wait–there’s more: the S 500's 429-hp inline-6 turbo is further boosted by an electric auxiliary compressor.
