The Laver Cup Comes To Vancouver.

West Coast tennis fans rejoice! The 2023 Laver Cup, sponsored by Mercedes-Benz, will be touching down in Vancouver for the first time in its history, connecting world-class athletes, fans and event organizers in the most beautiful city on Earth.

“We’re delighted to bring the Laver Cup in 2023 to Vancouver, a beautiful city which is renowned for hosting major sporting events. It will also be our first time coming to the West,” Laver Cup CEO Steve Zacks said.
Vancouver joins Berlin in hosting this year’s ceremonies, which will feature a three-day competition between the six players from Team Europe against Team World’s six players. Each team will be coached by tennis legend Bjorn Born and professional rival John McEnroe respectively.
The Cup’s signature black court will be set up in Vancouver’s Rogers Arena, already a familiar place of sportsmanship and showcase for locals.
“We are so proud to be named amongst the prestigious past host destinations of the Laver Cup, and we cannot wait to share our unique West Coast Canadian hospitality with all who travel here in 2023 to witness world-class tennis,” former City of Vancouver Mayor Kennedy Stewart said.
The festivities will be taking place September 22 to 24.
