Canada has been long overdue for some Michelin Stars, and this year, Vancouver earned ours. While some of our local favourites did not make the official list, we’ve noted which Lower Mainland restaurants have curated Michelin-worthy holiday menus that are sure to impress.

Located at the Westin Bayshore Vancouver, this waterfront bar and restaurant is back with its Instagrammable winter snowglobe dining experience. Equipped with heaters, fresh air circulation and individual sound systems, the H Tasting Lounge is serving up both lunch and dinner menus paired with their signature holiday cocktails to enjoy.

A Vancouver favourite for sushi lovers, this popular Westcoast Japanese fusion spot is offering a special seven-course Kaiseki menu for the month of December. Featured on the menu, along with Miku’s signature sushi courses, is a Wagyu Surf & Turf dish comprising A5 Iwate Wagyu, sous-vide Atlantic lobster, squash medley, and charred shishito snow. If you’re a sake enthusiast, we highly recommend adding the available sake pairing.

Recently awarded a Michelin Star for their French fare, St. Lawrence never fails to impress a trained palette. Celebrated Chef Jean-Christophe will be cooking up Quebeçois holiday classics for December. Featuring seafood and meats from local BC farms and fisheries, St Lawrence’s festive set menu includes poached cod with shrimp mousseline, roasted pork, and maple tarts.
