World Premiere: the All-New 2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC.
June 03 2022, Mercedes-Benz Vancouver
On June 1, Mercedes-Benz premiered the new GLC SUV to online audiences worldwide. The premiere itself—a combination of tongue-in-cheek behind-the-scenes footage and staggering driving by Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One driver George Russel—is beautiful, yet unpretentious and self-aware.
Those traits carry forward to the new 2023 GLC itself. The outgoing model is a current best-seller, so improving on the already excellent formula was key. The result is the same GLC you know and love, but sportier and more elegant thanks to Mercedes’ new modern luxury design language. Some of the highlights include new expressive digital headlights, running boards, and beautiful star pattern taillights.
Highly ergonomic, leather-upholstered seats welcome you to an all-new premium interior that features 64-colour ambient lighting, Burmester premium audio, a panoramic sunroof, and the MBUX touchscreen operating system. With off-road capabilities a focus, 4MATIC all-wheel drive comes standard on all models. Furthermore, the MBUX system features a new “transparent bonnet” mode to show you any off-road obstacles ahead, and the Airmatic air suspension gives you the clearance you’ll need to conquer anything in your way.
All versions of the GLC are equipped with 48V hybrid technology, guaranteeing terrific fuel economy in every situation. When the new 2023 model arrives at dealers next year, Canada will first receive the 2.0L, 255-hp turbocharged GLC 300.
